I was in the area, looking for a new place to eat. This place looked good. Table service. Wait to be seated. I was advised I could choose anywhere, so I chose the corner booth near the window. Booths line both sides of the restaurant with a row of tables on the right hand side. I ordered the chicken pho and guava jasmine green tea with boba. The food and drink were delicious. The boba has the perfect chewiness. $7.50 with the boba. Large pieces of sliced chicken in my pho. $16.50 for a small bowl. Service was great. I would definitely be back if I'm in the area.

Mama Hong's is a fun Vietnamese cuisine based restaurant. Located right in the heart of Burbank, on San Fernando Blvd., this restaurant is very accessible and there's tons of parking all over the area, so that should never be a problem. What this restaurant offer is a very nice selection of Vietnamese based cuisine They offer all of the traditional things you would expect from a Vietnamese restaurant: Pho, Banh Mi, plus a whole lot of other dishes to suit every pallet. This is a fairly large restaurant. They have very nice booths on both walls, as well as some interior tables. You can also sit outside, as Burbank has made outdoor dining table space available. The staff are all very nice. They are quick to take your order. Plus, your oder will arrive quickly. The only thing that I find kind of weird about this business is that they have a storage unit in their men's restroom. They store all of their chemicals, plus they have locker facilities in this bathroom as can be seen in one of the photographs I provided. Though I suppose there's nothing wrong with this, it just seems a little bit strange. Overall, if you're in Burbank and you want some great Vietnamese food, this is the place to go.

I can't tell you how often my wife and I have walked past Mama Hong's over the years we've frequented Burbank. Every time we ended up getting distracted and trying our safe options, but not today! With the colder weather, my better half wanted pho so we made a beeline straight to Mama Hong's. They apparently close the restaurant at 2:30 and reopen at 4, which we didn't know as we rolled in around 2. They still sat us and got our order in before the kitchen closed (whew!). There's a lot of seating inside but it can get elbow to elbow with other customers during peak times. Restrooms are in the back down some stairs, but they also have a little handicap elevator if anyone's in a wheelchair (nice touch that I rarely see). The food came out really fast and the employees were really friendly. The missus order the Chicken Breast Pho while I had the Grill Combination. Both were really good with generous portions. If you're worried about being rushed to finish up due to their mid-afternoon closing, fear not - you can take your time, so no need to wolf anything down! If you do come before they close, the only rush is just to place your order before the kitchen closes. Overall we really liked Mama Hong's - if you're walking around downtown Burbank, give them a shot! It hits really good on cold days! Spoiler alert - they charge a 10.25% sales tax, which we didn't notice at first but whatever.

I was in town visiting for the first time. It was a chilly night so we decided to stop by for some Pho. There was a bit of a wait but it was worth it! The Pho was delicious and came out quickly. Highly recommend this place!

Had a really amazing dinner tonight at Mama Hongs. Upon first seating we really enjoyed the homey environment and smells of what to come. The service rocked the whole experience. Our server with a cool haircut nailed the suggestions and I went for the grilled combo (steak and shrimp) while my little friend got a garlic tofu meal. The food was so amazing I didn't even need to touch the ample sauces to my right. Can't wait to return and have another heavenly dining experience, hope there is a different dj playing less sad music the next time we visit!

This place has always been pretty reliable. It's not my all time favorite for Vietnamese food but it is my go to for when I'm in Burbank. The thing I think they make better than anywhere else though is their beef balls (in their pho)! It's the only place I really enjoy beef balls. Service was nice. Parking is either street parking or one of the many lots around downtown Burbank. They honored the Yelp check in for a free drink (coke or tea).

A Taste of Home Mama Hong's Vietnamese Kitchen lives up to its name. Their traditional Pho is absolutely delicious and reminiscent of the homemade Pho I've enjoyed at friends' homes. If you've ever savored the comforting flavors of a steaming bowl of Pho from a small rural kitchen, you'll be transported back in time with every bite. The broth is rich and flavorful, the noodles are perfectly cooked, and the fresh herbs and vegetables add a delightful burst of freshness. It's the kind of dish that warms you from the inside out. If you're looking for an authentic and satisfying Vietnamese dining experience, Mama Hong's is a must-visit.

The restaurant blasts A/C inside which is nice with the heat from the pho. - Grilled Pork Spring Roll 4.7/5 The pork is very flavorful! They add something crunchy inside which gives a nice texture. This spring roll was really tasty [RECOMMEND] - Ham Spring Roll (Nam Cuon) 3.8/5 Ham not as flavorful as the grilled pork. Still good. - Combination Pho 3.6/5 Soup is OK, not as refreshing tasting but still hits the spot for pho. The regular size is actually pretty small. They give lots of meats. I think the OXTAIL PHO is worth since they give a lot! Street parking.
